We are fortunate that our work allows us to be on the front line of the battle for meaning, self worth and spiritual fulfillment. We are blessed to be able to watch God work miracles in those who have lost hope and don't believe in salvation.
Amazing Grace
An inmate draws a picture of the future. He has a vision of family, his own business and a truck with the words "Jesus Saves" on the back. He feels valued, loves the Lord and himself. He is confident and able to express himself creatively. He has hope.
Our Mission
GimmeGrace Christian cards has a three pronged mission:
1. Supply Christians with a new source of written communication - modern, hand touched letterpress Christian cards that allow a personal, joyful and bold expression of adoration for God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit. GimmeGrace cards run the gamut: from elegant and serene to loud and forceful. All showcase an aspect of Christ's never ending love for his brothers and sisters - God's children.
2. Give financially, tithe - 10% of all retail purchases go to charity. GimmeGrace allows customers to choose a charity from a list of 30 we work with. Updates on programs directly affected by GimmeGrace donations will be posted and sent to those interested in the quarterly newsletter.
3. Support people - going through tough times. It is the ultimate goal of GimmeGrace to support people in the community with active rehabilitative care. Individuals who have recently been released from jail and have completed a spiritually based rehabilitation program will have the opportunity to apply for 6 month internships. These work opportunities will also be available to individuals living in Sober Housing and those recommended by Salvation Army or Union Gospel Mission. It is our desire to assist those struggling with re-entry to the work force in a spiritually supportive, non-judgmental and safe environment.
